Question 12. What are Stewardship Learning Communities?

A Stewardship Learning Community is a group of leaders (Pastor and ten or more key lay leaders) who commit to meet together once a month for nine months for 90 minutes each session.  Its purpose is to further stewardship education among the leaders of the congregation.

The Stewardship Learning Community functions as the place where stewardship leaders can reflect on God’s Word, build relationships, plan for stewardship in their own lives and the life of the church, hold each other accountable, and pray together. It serves as a place for the growth of individual participants and as a springboard for helping all members of the congregation grow in this vital area of Christian discipleship.
